RODZILLA! My contribution to a very large ‘cosmic collage’ at a space art workshop yesterday! Old records are great for photomontage!
Here is a sample of the recent artwork I have been doing- they are pop up ‘fairytale’ scenes which hide inside boxes similar to that of ‘gas mask’ boxes. The project was a reaction to a space which was very similar to an air raid shelter. That space is The Pipe gallery which is located in Plymouth on the Barbican.
Next I will be practising my pop up making skills in suitcases for a travelling art show.
If you live near Plymouth- my artist collective (U:1) are organising and hosting a charity art auction to raise money for shelterbox and the victims of the Japan earthquake and tsunami.
The auction will take place at the Bbar, Barbican Theatre on Monday 11th April and starts from 8pm.
Thanks for reading! :)

Volunteering in a charity shop is very good for you, you end up being in a sorting mood and tidying/clearing out your own house- and you also get discount on good things like this old chocolate tin filled with buttons- hooray!
